Reclaimed or Antique This flooring is made from timbers that have been "reclaimed" from old industrial buildings such as mills and / or old farm buildings. This is wood that may have been discarded years ago when these buildings were torn down. Reclaimed or Antique flooring is available in a wide range of wood types and in different grades. It is generally more expensive than "new" wood flooring of the same species and grade. It is also possible to obtain very characteristic Reclaimed or Antique flooring that contains such imperfections as nail and worm holes, etc.
